The Administrative Division Commander oversees the Records Bureau. The Records Bureau is responsible for the maintenance of Motor Vehicle Accidents, summonses, investigation and arrest reports. Reports are requested through the Open Public Records Form, with the exception of accident reports.
The Department will provide individuals with "hard copy" of the reports for use on various court proceedings and insurance claims. Copies can be picked up at the Clinton Township Police Department, 1370 Route 31 North, Annandale, NJ 08801.
Reports are generally available within 5-7 business days, after the incident, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30AM to 4:30PM (excluding holidays). Prior to your arrival, please call (908)735-6000. You will be informed if the report is ready, amount of pages, and the fee.
Motor vehicle crash reports

- $5.00 + $0.75 per page by mail
